If the two anonymous people are willing to say who they are, that would be great - but not obligatory!!

And if the anonymous person voting 8 or less is able to say how many they had in mind (e.g. 6, 7, 8 wins?) , that would be even better. In the absence of any other advice, I will count it as 8

One of our past champions who doesn't come here anymore is MichaelD, who stopped suddenly during Covid - we hope he is still doing safe and well in his real life

And Johnny Aitch, after being equal second in the AO, and then leaving the board - Johnny would stand a chance of winning this and is most welcome to take part if he is looking in

Votes from them will directly influence the year long rankings race - no doubt holding out for the qualies to end and singles draws to come out in many cases!

Please note - if you haven't taken part in one of the slam wins prediction events before, everyone is welcome - and everyone has to start somewhere!!

Just predict the number of British main draw wins in the mens and womens singles and doubles (and usually mixed, just not this time!) and tell us what you voted and job is a good 'un.

The more people taking part the merrier - and newcomers more than welcome.

But remember, you only have until Sunday lunchtime to place a vote!!

2 1/2 days left to vote - not sure we will get qualies done today, but the main singles draws are out.

Lots of folks appear still to vote with 15 entries - about half what we normally get - and hopefully a few will make their predictions over the next couple of days!

So just two days left to make predictions. Not many in so far! Remember, predictions will close at 1 pm Sunday. Due to the proximity to start of play, there will be no informal or formal extensions to that close time, so dont be late!

 

There is a grandslam on the line!

Can i check, did you click the button? Telstar and Var have already voted 13 and it is still showing up 2 votes only whereas your vote should take it to 3...

 

Doesnt really matter but if you could click the button - I have captured you as 13 on my spreadsheet anyway!

Fran, Harry, Harriet and Toby qualify, singles draws all in place.

A day and a half or so to enter now folks- we have a lot fewer entries than most of the recent slam predictions contests currently so more chance of winning if you enter!

Ok - no more time warnings, predictions close hard at 1 pm on Sunday, no extensions for ANY reason - soft Jon has gone!

Im out of here tomorrow, going to the smoke to watch Spurs and Newcastle so out of here in terms of posting , until Sunday early evening.
