Time to go once more! US Open, British wins predictions for the main draw only (not qualies)
Remember, this is for just mens and womens singles and doubles - NOT MIXED DOUBLES. As that is a week earlier and "different" to other slams, I will leave mixed out again this season. So don't consider mixed in your predictions.
Also, a win from a pair of Brits or a pair with just one Brit counts as just one win.
Finally, a win by retirement of the opponent DOES count as a win; a win through a walkover DOESN'T count.
Those are the rules.
Since 2019, our wins at the US Open have been a low of 11 and a high of 27; those include mixed - you can research yourselves to decide what impact mixed has. Last year we had 15 wins in total once the mixed was taken out.
The average for all slams this year so far is 21 but that includes mixed, without mixed it will be maybe 2 or 3 lower than that. 17/18 wins feels a good mid point, hence the range
The start date for the 4 main events is Sunday 30th August. So the final cut off for predictions to be made is Saturday 29th August at midnight. I will set a timer for that.
This is a competition so it is nice to find the closest predictor, so please do say when you make a vote and what it is that you predict, so we can track it - some don't like to do that and that is fine. If you would rather not say, still please vote and we can count it anonymously, just not be able to anoint that person as a winner!
If you vote 8 or less or 27 or more, please say the specific number you predict. If you don't say, I will assume it is 8 or 27 exactly!

If players are tied in a position they all get those points e.g. equal 3rd would give all players on that position 30 points. If 3 are tied, then the next best prediction will be 6th and 15 points and so on.
