Qualifying starts tomorrow for this (main draw on Sunday), with Mark Ceban, Hollie Smart, Daniella Britton and several wildcards in the main draws. The qualifying draws are available here . The event is shared with the British Wheelchair Open from Tuesday
Most of the Brits in qualifying are highly outranked, so unsurprisingly only Liam Channon and Leah Bush have made it through so far to final qualifying (some girls' matches still to finish in the qualifying venue in Surbiton)

Scores are at the link above, so I will edit that into the top post. Liv lost quite quickly to the top seed. Edie and Vincent anre a set up, Annabel and Billy a set down
Annabel went on to lose in straights, but Edie and Vincent are the first British winners, Vincent scalping a seed, albeit the Peruvian was playing his first ITF on grass.
Rhys added to the healthy number of British winners on day 1, also beating a seed

More than 50% success for the girls in round 1, which is unusual here, given there was only one direct entry

The five girls that have progressed included four wild cards, but they all have some senior experience as the names are familiar to me from doing the woman's entries. Good luck to them all.
