Which British women's player will win the most grass court season singles matches in 2026?

So time for the annual prediction game. This poll will close Saturday 30th May at 11pm

If you vote please tell us who you vote for so we can see who get's it right at the end - there is, of course, no obligation to do so!! Ultimately it is just a game and something to follow, if you like these sorts of things!

We have several weeks of grass coming up and for the past few years we have tracked which British players win the most main draw and qualifying draw matches!

And it is time to go again!

Starting with Birmingham, we will track the wins in qualies and main draw through all the events in Britain and overseas, through to the end of Wimbledon (for the women). The wins that count include all main draws and qualies AND include the LTA Wild Card Play offs pre qualifiers that take place.

Your job is to predict which player you think will get the most wins!!

When you vote, please say for whom and I will anoint a winner at the end.

I have listed the top 19 women as of today plus AN other, in case you think someone outside the top 19 will win! For example, Hannah is outside this weeks top 20, as is Jodie and Katy D

Here is a summary of the year by year records (top 3 players each year)

2022 - 10 wins - Jodie Burrage; 9 wins Katie Boulter; 7 wins Harriet Dart

2023 - 10 wins - Katie Boulter; 8 wins Harriet Dart; 7 wins Jodie Burrage

2024 - 8 wins - Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal; 7 wins Emma Raducanu and Naiktha Bains

2025 - 5 wins - Sonay Kartal, Emma Raducanu, Heather Watson

The 2026 women's grass calendar is:

Week 22 - WTA 125 Birmingham

Week 23 - WTA 500 Queens, WTA 250 's-Hertogenbosch, WTA 125 Ilkley, ITF 50 Egypt

Week 24 - WTA 500 Berlin, WTA 250 Nottingham, Wimbledon Wild Card Play Offs

Week 25 - WTA 500 Bad Homburg, WTA 250 Eastbourne, Wimbledon Qualifying

Week 26 and 27 - Wimbledon

Week 27 - WTA 125 Newport RI

Results from main draw and qualies in these events will count towards the wins tally for British player with the most wins.

I tend to get the ball rolling on these things as I can then see votes coming in, helping me to manage the process.

So with that early status in mind, my vote this season notes that in all of the past years the winner has been one of our top women. Outside the top, I think Alicia D has a game that will do well on grass and may get entries to a level where she gets some wins; I also think Katie Swan may rack up some strong events if she stays fit.

But my vote is, this season, going to go with Emma and the hope that her new coaching situation serves her well!

With most of our top women having to manage injuries, I went for Harriet as the only one I could trust getting through it without breaking down
