But in juniors, it is definitely week 1 this week - and it matters as the age restrictions that apply are the 2026 ones
But the juniors and adults should be in synch so maybe we'll go for Week 1 (A) and Week 1 (B) or something like that - I'll amend it later if that seems the most sensible thing to do
All advice from junior fans and admin/stat/keeping things logical fans (you know who you are!) is gratefully received
But in terms of 2026 junior tennis:
J100 Sweden
R1
Alex Mirrington won
Lara Savic had to retire. Karina Kiss still to play.
J60 Belgium
R1
Lucy Bear won.
Alice Sharp lost (unfortunately drawn against the top seed)
Harry Cornhill won. Neo Armus and Samuel Hostiuc lost.
Super Category Tennis Europe
12U Boulogne-Billancourt
(As above, this is a Week 1 2026 event, so only those born in 2014 and younger - there's a big note at the bottom of the ITF site - I think a lot of coaches get confused )
This is big event, one of the most prestigious 12U events, and has live scores, as well as streaming etc.

Girls:
Sahara Baptiste got a wildcard but lost to a very competent Swedish girl who plays for Wilson and whom I epect to do well.
Sahara has some excellent skills and shots, and I love some of her tennis, but she is a little dodgy technically, as well as temperementally, and a touch lazy in her rigour. The opposite of her opponent.
BUT
2015-born Nolwaine Lgassam has come through qualis and won two matches to make the last 16
Victoria Florea is also into the L16 - she played well today, with the makings of a very nice serve, but is often a long way back
And Yilin Li looks like she's going to join her
BOYS:
Mylo Bonello is the sole GB boys taking part
He got a BYE but has now lost the first set of his R2 match but it's very close
Are the ITF aligned for seniors and juniors? Just the atp and WTA at odds with next week being week 1 for them? Or are the ITF at odds with themselves as well?
