The Junior Orange Bowl (under 12/under 14) started today. Normally we have a separate thread for it, but it has changed into a smaller competition, with far fewer international entries. There is only one Brit I spotted in the main draw - Matyas Oprchal who lost 6-4 6-3 in round 1 of the under 12 boys (could be others, as identifying nationalities is tricky). There is also one girl in the under 12s, Matilda Kasselstrand who is Swedish but has been based in Scotland for a long time. She lost her round 1 6-0 6-0 against a strong Serbian Zana Peric (winner of the recent Carlos Moya event we mentioned because Max Hodkinson won the boys event)
