Thanks for the round ups as usual. Must take a while as I get bored after looking at 2/3 events lol.

 Thanks, Merv smile

It's a bit overkill really, I know that a J30 R1 result is hardly stop the press nobiggrin

And there's quite a lot at the moment, what with school holidays

But I do it in a 10 minutes slot, or whatever, with a drink (sometimes coffee, sometimes not smile) and it's quite peaceful)

TBH, I don't know about others but given the news and everything else online at the moment, it's nice to have something low-key and 'innocent' (kitten videos might be an alternative smile)

Exactly. Totally agree. I avoid the news as much as I can these days.

Im also on summer holidays (teacher) so have more downtime to follow tennis closer.

I watched quite a bit of Eric in junior Wimbledon and he served and volleyed a lot. Is that his game style or was he just trying it on the grass?

I can't really help, Merv, sorry - I know Rhys Lawlor's game quite well but haven't seen that much of Eric

I have only seen him on a few occasions but yes I hope they are working on it. He is/ was quite tall for his age and so serving and volleying might be a good tactic. Needs to work on consistency to hang in points a bit better and not leave the ball short (particularly his backhand) but he is progressing nicely and has the best chance at Loughborough academy along with Scott and Niall. Others may have different opinions though but I notice other juniors such as Oli and Mark trying to come forward regularly also (ie in Oli's match at Aldershot today). I'm all for it!
