So the (higher) seed lost in all 4 matches, though in most if not all cases that wasn't a shock. Mimi looks to have a game which will ask more questions of Julieta than Hannah was able to do.

That's going to be 400 points lost for Emerson

But Lilli and Hannah both have good net new points to add, even though they lost today

(Kostovic stays flat as she reached the QFs last year)

Mimi - Julieta will be quite the clash. And no I don't think she'd rather be on the hard courts practising for Nottingham.

Mimi has always been a bit better than Hannah. Hannah has never beaten her I don't think all the way back to very early days. So I expect her to give Pareja a much stiffer test tomorrow.

 Mimi is 16 months older

It makes quite a difference at their age

Pareja's doubles match looks like going to a MTB, which is all for the good
