Boys: 2025 European Summer Cups - U12/U14/U16/U18

Wonder why Mark has not had good recent results overall? Seems to be struggling after rising to the top 60 juniors. As mentioned before, the boys side is worrying with so little depth.

Development for juniors, and boys in particular, is usually not smooth. Mark's rise into the top 100 has exposed him to regular top level juniors early, and he has probably lost a bit of confidence.   He is still in the top ten ranked within his year, and hopefully he will get on a good run before long.  Today's result is nothing to be concerned about.  He was playing another top 2009 boy on clay which probably favours Kosaner over Mark.  Even indoors, at the Les Petits As semis 2 years ago, Mark only got past the Turkish lad 7-5 in the third. Kosaner has won 80% of his ITF matches this year, and is climbing rapidly towards the top 100.  Don't be surprised if once he reaches the top 100 he also has a dip for a while.
