Girls: J300 Bamberg, Germany, clay (Week 24)

Megan Knight plays her first J300 event, and only her second clay court ITF. There is live streaming from 2 courts here but not the court Megan is scheduled on tomorrow.

R1 (L48)

Megan Knight v Denisa Zoldakova (CZE)

My understanding is that her team is looking long term. Whilst she will play junior Wimbledon there are no expectations of her doing well this year, its more about the experience. Grass court season this year is not a big thing for her. They want to build up her ranking, get her into J300 and 500 events on rankings. She will be aiming for the orange bowl this year and other big events with all junior slams the aim for next year

Isn't she playing Hurlingham as well?

 Yes

For someone who's supposedly not targeting grass, playing Hurlingham could be thought of as a bit weird

Apart from, of course, I bet her and her dad will have an absolutely super time, with all the swanky stuff going on, and ultra pretty surroundings,  and high profile people swanning around :)
