Hannah was losing 2-6, 2-5 but recovered to 5-5 and forced a tie-break, which Hannah won 7-2. Into a decider.
... which Hannah dominated to win 6-1. Would have been interesting to see the dynamics of that match, whether Mia Pokanhova bottled with 1 game to win or Hannah changed her approach. Won it by the skin of her teeth!

No joy for Hannah in doubles or Allegra in singles, but that's a good win in singles for Hannah against a higher ranked opponent despite the junior seeding (WTA 472). If she progresses tomorrow, she will play another higher ranked WTA girl (Julieta Pareja or Lilli Tagger)
Girls R3
(14) Laima Vladson (LTU) d. Allegra Korpanec Davies 7-6(3) 6-4
(3) Hannah Klugman d. Mia Pohankova (SVK) 2-6 7-6(2) 6-1
Interesting that Hannah beat Mia by an almost identical scoreline 67 76 61 in Traralgon this year. She's already had success at senior level (has won a W75) so a good win.
Her potential semifinal opponent Pareja has also had success at senior level, coming through qualifying to reach the semifinals at WTA Bogota, which was very random.
And Tagger beat Hannah on clay in March.

Hannah has just claimed the first set breaking to take it 6-4. It will be an all 2009 final whoever wins as Luna Vujovic won the other semi - Hannah beat her in the recent Vrsar J300 final
