Six doubles matches scheduled today - 3 mens and 3 womens

I think the womens doubles has been a pleasant surprise this year, to those like me who dont follow it closely. What are the chances of any of the 3 pairs going through today?

Liv and Tereza ought to win - I expect the other two to lose heavily against their seeded opponents. As for the men - I don't follow closely but could be three wins there.

Liv & Tereza are showing as slight betting outsiders, 11/10 against. Maia & Sabrina 4/1 against. Jodie & Sonay 9/1 against.

And heres our current list of

21 Var, Coup Droit

23 Ralfie
24 Indiana

Albeit - it is really just Ralfie and Indy. With two guaranteed wins coming. 1 more other win today and Indy is our champion!

Well I didn't expect to win the competition, but I did think my prediction of 20 would at least have kept me involved into the second week! It seems we all underestimated just how successful the team would be. I was so happy it was Jack's win that knocked me out last night. What a superb match that was and a great performance all round by the Brits.

22 wins now - Henry (with a little help from Harri!)

(But 22 is really 23 with Jake and Cam still to face off tomorrow)

And heres our current list of people still in it

22 Sheddie, Rain Delay, Miriam abc, 9vicman (but not really unless Jake and Cam BOTH withdraw - which I guess could happen?)
23 Ralfie
24 Indiana

And we also have a

Having reached 23, there is also one guaranteed win from Jake and Cam tomorrow, meaning we will definitely reach 24!

I have never declared a winner on a first Friday before but congrats to Indy on being our champion!!

It remains to be seen if Indy gets it exactly right but I am sure he wont mind if we surpass 24 wins, and we should!

Indy has now won 3 out of the last 4 events and was runner up in Australia - if Indy had won Australia he would have done the grand slam!

Kudos to Indy!!

As I said earlier in the thread my true pre tournament estimate was 26. I just voted for 24 here because all you dudes went for less

Anyway, hope that that too is well surpassed and I will prove to be about the worst winner yet!

Been great to see all these British wins.
