And our field depletes rapidly today - 17 contenders still in (plus an anonymous) out of 33 that started

And 17 makes it the best French set of results since we started doing this in 2019. And last year was 13. And we have a lot of players left in across 4 of the disciplines.

I'm delighted to have badly underestimated in my guess! It's great that we have so many players now in the draws and so many of them have won at least one round.

 tbh I had in my mind Katie had lost already and so hence why I said 4!! Jumping the inevitable gun?!

Remember, players out could still gain points in our year long grand slam rankings - it is the 10 closest (plus ties) to the final score (up or down) who pick up those points for most accurate predictions

 As we are guaranteed 22 wins, the 10 contestants in the table above will be allocated points in the year long rankings - exact points to be determined once we see where the final number of wins lands later in this French Open. Hard to believe we are in week 1 still! But these 10 folks are the top 10 predictors.
