 I was having a look at this and the first 12 in the standings after Wimbledon are all entered in the US Open contest ( 13 to 18 aren't ) so the main year long competitors are all giving it a go again.

For that top 12 I have added their US Open prediction beside their names along with an X for the 4 that I reckon still have a chance of being 2026 #1.

If some of our doublers get their act together today ( late on with the schedule ) 4 will fairly quickly become 2 - Brittak and emmsie.

20 wins looks the swing point. There is 15 points between them. With 20 wins, emmsie would be 2nd for 40 points and Briitak 4th for 25 points - a 15 point difference and a tie on 95 points. Below 20 favours Brittak, above 20 favours emmsie.

 Don't worry about me Jon - I don't want to be hoping our players lose!

Interesting though that when I made my guess of 15 I was truly sticking my head above the parapet in being so optimistic compared to the low predictions already made. If our men's dubs players do well then that will be reward enough for me.

Yes. need to all fall down and us indeed stay on 16. Canda would then get 40 points for 2nd ( as would mdewey but on clearly less points ) and actually win it by quite a distance.

mdewey needs to hit the button on 17 wins for 55 points to win ahead of brittak.

18 wins or more and it's either brittak or emmsie.

 Ah, so Mdewey in it still as well. Missed that (sorry on hols until Thursday so don't have my details easily to hand!). 

Mdewey suggested a new points system and I've run those numbers to end Wimbledon. I'll update post USO. Be interested to see views (from Mdewey in particular! ) once the numbers are run!

A podium looks yours if we achieve 18 or more wins 

You actually briefly had the possible winner X at one point until I realised that brittak had you covered at all wins.

eg. if you hit the button with 19 wins for 55 points to go onto 105 points, he'd go and get 40 for points for 2nd and move to 110 points.
