Megan's luck didn't last and she also lost at this stage.

It wasn't luck that was needed, though
She just needed to step in a bit
She lets the ball drop, and had real trouble finishing a point - the rallies were dreadfully long - but the other girl was a little more aggressive and deserved to win, imo

Yes, she's doing very well

And a lot of juniors fall into the clean, percentage hitting profile, and then add a little more risk as they get older

After the tight mach with Megan Ekaterina Dotsenko won her semi and final (against second seed Darina Matvejeva) in straight sets, thus becoming the third successive Russian winner of the girls event
