That exceeded all our expectations!!
Well done GB tennis players!
And if you also think about what Alfie achieved, a great fortnight!

Indy (with 5) and Miriam (with 6) past wins are the ones we need to ask - do you do the scientific, lets work through the draw, style approach or are you in the that sounds like a good number bracket ? Most times you do this, I mean?

I pick a figure for each section. Wherever possible I wait for at least the singles draws to appear. So to make 17 this time I had 3, 2, 7, 2, 3. Only correct for WD. I noticed Jamie, Neal and Joe hadn't won a match this year  so marked MD low,  usually I guess MD wins in double figures. Also thinking that vote for WS should be at least as high as MS, if not higher cos according to strongest nation our top10 women are doing better than top 10 men.

Did this time in a hurry as a lot going on at home.

The big question is whether this improved form will continue into the clay season.

So, the AO British wins prediction competition is drawing near and early new year I will start looking for predictions as the event starts around the 18th January for main draws.

I have a slight problem- Im going away to India and Qatar on business from the 9th to 16th and , frankly, wont have time to capture the entries.

Could I ask a big favour and ask if someone will take on running the competition for me? It basically requires someone to post a poll covering the voting range and choosing a voting range they think will be appropriate based on recent slams. And once posted (I suggest around the 10th with it closing night of 17th ie before play starts), recording the entries as they come in and posting a new entry list as the time ticks down.

It would be a shame for it to not happen as a few people here seem to enjoy it, so any volunteers just post here - first person to offer will get the gig!

Indy has volunteered to capture and summarise the entries, thanks Indy. I will post the vote ahead of going away on my trip, probably two weeks in advance of the start of the AO ( although most entries come in closer to the date)
