Ive not been following the rankings at all - it looks like pretty much the entire field has taken a points drop (and ai decent sized one) in our table from the early June figures. What caused that, it didnt seem like all ur players tumbled in the rankings, or did we see some big downward shifts post Wimbledon?

There would be a big drop in points if there's a big rankings shift up or down

True - I hadnt thought about up! In which case, the question pertains both ways - was there a big movement in the womens rankings one way or the other since the French Open?!

There have been several significant movements since RG. The obvious ones are that Sonay has moved up and Harriet has moved down. Either of these two could affect the points by as much as 7 or 8 depending on your prediction. As You Were has dropped as well, but as you can see from the strongest nation GB women are still doing well. It's the closeness of the ranking that makes the biggest difference.

Please may I sub Heather for Ella please. I can't remember when the subs were supposed to happen, but think it was post Wimbledon, so hope I am in time.

I've drawn up a comparison between the two dates for your account only. Was going to PM you with a screenshot but it doesn't allow attachments. Yout 11 point drop is made up of the odd ones and twos from several players.

Please substitute Lily for Sarah Beth. I can find no reason why she hasn't played this year and no official retirement announcement. Does anyone know anything??

I don't know why Beth isn't playing, but I have seen non-tennis posts on Instagram quite recently - and I also check for entries regularly.
