2025 - Women's Ranking Prediction Competition

I'm going to be almost bottom this year, so I say this with absolutely no self interest in this - but I think up to the Aussie Qualifying cut off date of December 22?, that there are likely to be numerous changes in position of our top 10 - outside of our top 4, it is going to be very close for the next 6 positions, so I hope the final totting up is done after December 22. It doesn't matter at all if the results are late this year; far better that it reflects the final rankings for the year, rather than an early December cut off.

I had Katie B and Emma in the top 16, no Katie Swan and numerous other laughable guesses, so this isn't about me; just that the competition is going to alter a lot in December this year, I think.

I think in the first post of the thread, The Addict highlights first week in December as the closing date ie after the 125s taking place. last year I see the mens and womens closed on December 9th.

As it transpired, the final WTA 125 this year concludes on 14/12 and TA has said recently in the men's prediction thread thst he is thus thinking the rankings of 15/12.

With Mimi (GB6) and Sonay (GB2) in the draw in Limoges I confirm that the competiton has another week to run. I did think about finishing it early, but there is still the possibilty of rankings changes.

I'll do them at the same time. I know the challengers have finished, but I want to keep the two inline.

Well done for the extra week - still lots happening late this year and some big ranking changes still possible. I dread to see how badly I've done this year, but will be interesting to see how others have fared.

Final table based on today's rankings (15/12/2025). Extra week didn't make any difference !

I see that I am exactly the same as 'As you Were' - which I guess means I basically shouldn't even have bothered and just let well alone

(NB Glad my mate did not make the top-3 - he's gloating enough as it is, it'd be unbearable :smile)
