I don't even really undestand what Megan is doing here anyway.
I mean, why isn't she playing U14s in the States?
She went last year, it's where all the top girls are, why hasn't she gone this year?

Maybe she wanted to finish U14s tennis with a tournament win at the Monte Carlo masters which is the season ending finale? Also this is a good chance to play against more senior players ready for her continuation of ITF juniors next year wich is faster paced than U14s generally.

Charlie and Viktor are both opening play at 9 am local time today; Hannah and Allegra are second on court.

In doubles, Charlie, Oli, Viktor and Hannah are all in round 2 and in action later.

Allegra has pulled out of the British Tour event and been replaced by Ciara. Lets hope Allegra has a good result here this afternoon.

I go with the first bit, yes, it's nice to finish on a high this year (although she's not finishing U14 tennis - she's still U14 next year and I expect her to be at Les Petits As, although might be wrong of course)

Not the second - there are tons of opportunities to play against more senior players, this is nothing special, and nothing she has a particular afifliation or conneciton to

Completely agree. British Tour is a strange choice. There are other older girls that would have loved the opportunity to play and Megan would have been better off in the 14U or 16U events in America

Well done Hannah !

Colette had a long interview with Hannah yesterday where Hannah basically says herself that she's not got too much chance of winning - I thought it was very insightful - rather than the normal 'rhubarb-rhubarb' you get

Viktor and Oli won their doubles, into last 8? Both fought hard to win in a MTB

Charlie lost though , as top seeds.

So each boy left in one event
