J60 Bahrain

Maria Ustic and partner won the doubles title, beating the 2nd seeds

(The singles result from above, though, was reversed - which was a shame but not that surprising, I guess, seeing it was the top seed)

J100 Latvia

Max Carrier lost his SF in singles, won his dubs SF but ended up losing the FINAL in a MTB :(

J60 Togo

Jesse Abu lost his doubles final, to the top seeds

But Grace Chinwike and partner took the title !

This is her 4th dubs title this year, and the first - this year - at J60 level (although she did win a J60 one last year)

Mainstream junior tennis is practically over for the year so I've extended this thread's title to cover any bits and bobs that might come up for in the next few weeks

LIKE, for instance, the U12 Cat 1 event in Portugal this week - which is quite an important event
Most of the lads have lost out, leaving only Luca Danush, who came through qualis

But, in the girls, there are a couple of high-ish profile girls going well so far

April Sackflame and Marlena KOBERSKA-WASIAK have both won two matches

Kaya Stoj., Mika's little sister, won her first match and then lost - but I think she's a year young here

A little comment in passing for Mika's little sister, Kaya, and Honey Robinson who are both - I believe - a year young for the U12 events but made the Semis of the doubles together in the Cat 1 event in Portugal
