Week 43 - ITF W75 Glasgow, Great Britain - Indoor Hard

Gift for Freya. The Swiss girl is terrible.

Some difficult draws but also lots of opportunities for this level.

Going tomorrow hope to see the Marni match in particular. I think Beth has a chance against the German but it clashes with the Mark Ceban match both first on court.

Beth and Marni have already won today

And Freya managed to join them biggrin

She didn't make it easy for herself (quelle surprise)

But the Swiss girl was SO irritating, and SO irritable - if I were on the Swiss forum, I'd want to disown her

I see there's a default in the ladies doubles! Somewhat predictable of course. A shame for Miss Kavanagh who was probably looking forward to an ITF main draw match! Mention of disowning

Katherine Barnes had an injury time out in second set of singles she was leading 3  -0  she had a problem with her serving arm . Subsequently lost six games in a row presumably  not fit to play doubles

Marni was really fantastic today totally overpowered her Fench opponent who tried high looping balls she did not have the weapons to trouble Marni.

Saw a bit of Freya usual Freya hit or miss loads of power loads of error the Swiss girl was no great shakes.

Then 6-7(4) *0-3 down.
