So the 4 doubles finalists in Shrewsbury are skipping the Glasgow event?

Not necessarily - all four were immediately after Malygina (Q1 seed) on the acceptance list. There were 5 places available in the main draw which would allow for the top five in the qualifying list direct entry. The four doubles players could well have wildcards.

Apart from Heather and Sonay, I can't see that there are any of our top 20 ranked players that might have got a wildcard other than the four in question.

A few nice wins and points picked up by our lesser known players.
Ava Williamson has now got two counters(unless she sneaked another one earlier in the year)

Remind me - is it a point for a 1st q defeat for a 75k or do you need to win a match.

I'm the worst person on this forum for points (!!!!) but my chart says it's zero points for turning up but 2 points for a QR1 win (at a 75K)
