It's been poor tennis from both girls

It's the event, the situation, that's playing, not the tennis

Lots of UEs from Emerson

Mika can't hit any ball that's hit straight at her feet

Shame for Mika but there was nothing in it

Emerson's tactics with the return of serve onto Mika's feet and the body serve were really effective - as they always will be against a tall powerful player

A pretty scrappy third set all the way through - some howlers from both girls

That's life - now she can prepare for the WTA500 next week
