In the other match in Mika's group Kristina only dropped 2 games against Laura somewhat surprisingly, though Laura has just played a couple of matches since retiring from the Prague WTA250 semi in July. Mika plays Laura second match tomorrow (first match is at 5.30 am BST). Charlie plays the Korean he has a good record against scheduled for midday
Tyra Grant beat Penickova however, so all 4 players have a 1-1 record entering the final round. Both matches are therefore straight knockouts, no sets difference is relevant now.
So Mika plays Penickova tomorrow, winner gets into the semis.
That means if Charlie can beat Kim, all 4 boys in the group will be on a 1-1 record, similar to Mikas group. It would mean Charlie and Mrva would face a straight knockout match to see who gets through to the semis.
First, Charlie has to beat Kim and they have just started. As per DavidC post at the start of this thread, Charlie has beaten Kim in the last 3 slams - no gimme but he should approach it with confidence
So all 4 players do have a 1-1 record and Charlie plays Mrva in a winner takes all match. Who tops the group will depend on H2H record against the winner of the other match, probably, although tie break rules are something I havent tracked down!
So both Brits have 1 all records and face winner take all final round robin matches for a semi place.

So all 4 players do have a 1-1 record and Charlie plays Mrva in a winner takes all match. Charlie and Mrva have the best sets records at 3-2 and, from my maths, whoever wins will top the group, regardless of score line.
So both Brits have 1 all records and face winner take all final round robin matches for a semi place.
FWIW, will H2H not apply to determine the winner in Charlie's group? If so, the winner of Charlie's match would only top the group if the other winner is the player they beat earlier.

ah, yeah, probably - the ITF site doesnt seem to show the tie break rules but I guess that is what typically works in other similar events, so fair call - I guess the main thing will be getting a win and just getting through to the semis, for both Charlie and Mika. Let the semis look after themselves.

If you want to know the tiebreak rules they are in section 4 of this document
Charlie won the first set 6-4 and 2 all second set
In the girls match, Samson took the opening set and is 3-0 up. If she goes onto win, her and Mika will be tied on 2 wins - Samson took their H2H match so it looks likely (as it stands) that Mika will go onto the semi with Emerson Jones.
