J100 Austria

Top-seed Max Carrier lost in his first match

Max Castle, though, got a BYE and a win and is through to R3

 

J60 Ghana

Jiselle Okoye won her R1 and Alisha Ndukwu (as top seed) got a BYE  

Abimbola Ayinla lost however, as did Henry Beer in the boys

 

J60 Greece

Louis Hull is top seed and won his R1

Ron Roopesh lost; Murray Watters, Leo Wright and Isabelle Moss still to play

 

J60 Albania 

Alice Haddad won in R1 but lost in R2

Eva Hutchins and Artina Gashi both lost in R1, as did Erik Ndreu in the boys

 

J30 Latvia 

AndrewCutocheras lost in R1

Daniella Britton got a walkover win and now faces the top seed

 

J30 Dom Republic

13 year-old Clarice Ouvarova won her R1 match but Henry Roberts lost

Excellent R2 win for Daniella Britton (2010), over the top seed, age 18, JWR 530

Also still going in doubles


J100 Austria

Max Castle lost his R3 match so all finished in Austria


J60 Greece

Louis Hull is top seed and won his R1, as did Murray Watters, Leo Wright and Isabella Moss

Ron Roopesh lost


J30 Tunisia

13 year-old Giselle Jolie Fiorentino (a new name to me) won her R1 match very easily

J30 Latvia

Daniella - age 13 - has now made the semi-finals in singles, havign beaten the 5th seed easily.

And she's also made the final in the doubles


J60 Greece

Watters got pipped 7-5 in the third by the 3rd seed. And Louis lost. As did Isabella.

But Leo Wright is through to the QFs


J30 Tunisia

13 year-old Giselle Jolie Fiorentino won her R2 match easily and is into the QFs


J30 NZ

Josh Hinton was top seed, got a BYE and a win, but then lost in R3


J100 Palermo

Nick Fisk and Matt Upton lost in R1 - Aleksandar Daskalovic still to play


J30 Netherlands

Dylan Davies and Harrison Cooper have come through 3 rounds to make the QFs

Preston Taylor lost his R3 match by default

Tara Le Meur lost in R1 in the girls

Daniella - age 13 - has made the final in singles - winning her SF 6-3 6-1

Nick Fisk and Matt Upton lost in R1,as did Aleksandar Daskalovic 7-6(6) in the third set

Another first job done



J30 Dom Rep

13 year-old Clarice Ouvarova and 13 year-old Sofia Bielinska won the doubles

The two girls are playing the singles final later today

Sofia is the youngster who was 'rescued' from Ukraine, with her family, by Edge, the foundation run by Rick Macci (famous coach of Williams sisters, Sharapova etc) and who predicts that she will be world #1

(She lost the doubles title)


And Clarice Ouvarova does the double, taking the singles title as well as the doubles, agains the highly touted Sofiia Bielinska
