Over the moon for Jack getting that win last night. Watched him take the first set but had to sleep after that. He was just really solid.

Is it bad to have expected Jack to win. Hurkacz not the same player since his Wimbledon injury. But still a very good win.

A great win although should be noted that Hubi has pulled out of Shanghai next week and did look a little restricted on court.

And ultimately :

QF:  Ugo Humbert (FRA) WR 19 (CH = 13 in April) vs Jack Draper WR 20 by 7-5 2-1* (0-30) retured

So apparently ended during a service games Jack was leading. Anyone see?

Yeah he spoke to his team and obviously decided it wasnt worth making the ab injury any worse. He wasnt playing at full capacity towards the end so chances of winning would have been low.
