Woohoo FANTASTIC after the injury woes he has had. Saw him walking around at J300 Roehampton in the summer and he seemed desperate to be back playing (as you would) so this is very encouraging :)
Oli now plays Wimbledon semi-finalist Naoya Honda twice in a day. Oli won the J500 final in Brazil on their previous meeting, but Naoya has home advantage here.

Not to be for Oli, but 2 J500 finals in a year is a rare achievement. Mika Buchnik, who was due to play Flora Johnson in the rained-off Durban J300 semi last week, won the girls event
Boys F

Presumably he wont get a massive boost as he did well here last season as well? Charlie will still be clearly top, obviously, in terms of Brits.
Last year the Osaka J500 was a couple of weeks later (and he just reached the quarters, so doesn't have massive points), so he will get a boost to somewhere in the teens, but will fall a bit over the next 2 weeks, unless he gets good points next week in Beijing (where he won the doubles last year). If he has an exceptional week in Beijing he could overtake Charlie as British number 1

Thanks David, thats going to make for an interesting couple of weeks. Although we may find Charlie in the tour finals in mid October when the field is announced, so that will give him big points opportunities?
