Didn't know where to post this (I guess here) but a Tennis Wales instagram post just appeared on my timeline. A new player to me called Max Lendrum just won Tennis Europe U14 title in Belfast. I then saw that he has a good record and that he has also beaten Jaime Alcaraz who I've heard could be as good as his brother. Does anyone know anything more about Max? Thanks

Sorry, I can't help you Oscariyan

But congrats to Max

And also to Ginny who won the girls (and Millie Ryder who was runner-up)

TE Belfast Cat. 3 (09/09/21 - 13/09/24)

Boys' Final: Max Lendrum (GBR) def. James McMillan (IRE) 6-4 4-6 6-3

Girls' Final: Ginny Chen (GBR) def. Millie Ryder (GBR) 6-2 6-2

(Technically, this maybe should go in last week's but it doesn't really matter - you did well to spot it !)

 First year 14u (2011 born)

On the LTA National pathway

Big win last year in the 12 indoor national championship (grade 1) beating Fred Fabricius in the final. Doesnt stand out to me much to be honest as no obvious weapons but plays a good game and is very competitive
