I didnt think shed pull through but so glad she managed it. Bloody brilliant set of results! When was the last time we had 3 juniors through to a slam semi? I feel like keothavong / baltacha did it. Dont think Laura / Heather overlapped

I wonder if they'll play their doubles?

Annie K and Elena B both made Wimbledon semis in 2001. Not sure if any boys made it that year.

Think the year Heather won the US Open, Laura lost in the SF to the girl Heather beat in the final, but may have made that up

Steven pointed out earlier in this thread that in 2011 we had 3 semi-finalists in the boys here (Oli Golding, George Morgan and Kyle Edmund) but I haven't time to check whether it has happened at another slam - I can't think of any since 2011

That's correct - in 2009 we had 2 semi-finalists in the girls event here - Laura and Heather (Yana Buchina beat Laura but lost to Heather)

So impressive from Mimi. Not fully fit, two points from defeat in the second round.

I wonder what Hannah might think of it all.

Well done Mimi, Mika, Charlie and Hannah. As said the LTA must be pleased! Along with Jack in the men's SF :)

M&M narrowly lost their doubles 5-7 6-2 [8-10].

Thats was a tough work out for M and M. Two wins out of three is very good but those two will be disappointed to lose the doubles. Maybe Mrs S and Mrs X werent there to cheer them, on!
Anyway, Mimis tenacity is coming to the fore now. Always thought Mika had buckets of potential.Well done to Charlie S well and good luck in the semis! And Jack.
