Yes, that some amazing comeback from Jodar
I only saw the last 15 mins -but the Norwegian boy is top seed, world #1, won the first set in 25 mins or so - and yet the Spanish lad was just SO focused and on it - I was rooting for him, couldn't help it
Interesting it's Mika's third victory over Sonobe at Slams, including last year's US Open. She beat some seriously good players this week, include Jovic who did so well in the senior event.
WOW!!!! Well done Mika GS champ! What a brilliant match she played and an outstanding week. Most impressive aspect this week was her ability to close out final sets under the most pressure she played front foot tennis :)

Great stuff! When I first heard about Mika on this forum there was some suggestion IIRC that she was overly favoured by the LTA but she's certainly proving her potential now.
And to think many of us saw her as only the third best 15 year old in British female tennis. It could be a golden generation over the next 15 to 20 years for us.

I recall that discussion as well, maybe 12/18 months ago!
