J100 Belgium

Edie Griffiths lost in her first match

Tia BonitaJakupovic-Kljako won in R1 before losing to the 2nd seed

 

J100 Zimbabwe

Josh Aston won his R1 before losing out

Harry Cornhill lost in R1 

 

J60 Luxembourg

Nick Fisk won his R1 match

Laim Channon and Sam Chadwick lost

 

J60 Skopje

Murray Watters lost in R1

Rhys has a BYE through to R2, as does Maria Ustic

 

J30 Finland

Lisa Bolton (age 14) and Alice Sharp (age 14) won in R1

Daphne Lovdahl (age 14) lost but was drawn against the 2nd seed

 

J30 St Vincents & G

Ron Roopesh is into the QFs

Darsh Patel lost in R1

Sophie Buzzigoli won her R1 and then lost to the 2nd seed

 

J30 Dom Rep

Henry Roberts is into R3

 

J30 Denmark

HannaAugustynska lost in R1

Harry Abel is 2nd seed and has made R3

Macy Denney-Richards, Daisy Clifford and Victoria Marshall lost in R1

As did Oli Page and Matt McLain

Felix B-Evans won one match before losing in R2

Leo Silverston is into R3

As is Sam Zlotnik, and Matilda Cabrera Burns 

Rocco Richardson won his R1 before losing in R2

Freddie Sharp lost in R1

Shawn Claridge won in R1 before losing to the top seed

Charlotte Perks won two matches and lost in R3

THere was a category 2 Tennis Europe event in Aldershot this week

FINALS U14s

Boys: Neo Armus def. (wc) Harrison Clowe 1-6 6-3 6-1

Girls: Ingrid Dumitru def. Leah Bush 3-6 6-3 6-3

Interesting draw, with Ginny Chen, Anna Wright, Judy Zhang, Milica Milojevic etc all in the draw, as well as the USA/UK ambidextrous girl, Khadija Anedniran

(also a wildcard to Sasha Zlotnik - another younger sister of Sam? See below)


FINALS U12

Boys: Fred Fabricius def. AUS 6-0 6-2

(Oscar Laskowski, top seed, lost in the semis)


Girls: Marlena KOBERSKA-WASIAK def. Mimi Zlotnik 6-1 6-2

(Mimi the younger sister of Samuel? Coco Witton was also in the draw - little sister of Daisy? Sophie Florence who got a fair bit of discussion on here a week or so back lost in the semis to Marlena)

 Yes, Zlotniks all siblings. Strong tennis family who also train and compete a lot in Spain. Coco no relation to Daisy. Coco trains at Nottingham tennis centre alongside Evie Pritchard and Hollie Ruck. A great group of players there at the moment. Older ones include Allegra KD, Mia Wainwright and Alice Wilson Marsh.

 Fred and Neo have both made a lot of changes to their game over the last few months and it has paid off. Fred has always been up there but has left Bath and gone to Reeds to work with Hannah Ks coach. Neo has been working with Adam Glyn (previously a top junior and coach at West Hants and now at the AELTC as a performance coach)
