Well done Megan thats a great performance and improving each time. Do you think she moves to ITFs now?

Not immediately.  Her focus for the next 6 weeks is likely to be under 14 events.  She is on the entry list for the one remaining Super Category event in Germany at the end of July, and then she will surely be selected for the GBR team at the World Juniors in August, and after that there is the under 14 nationals.  I would guess that is the point when she will look at moving to ITFs regularly (she has played one earlier in the year).

For the record:

Girls SF

(1) Jana Kovackova (CZE) d. Megan Knight 2-6 6-3 [10-8]

An encouraging marked improvement on Megan's scorelines against Jana earlier this year

Megan has one more full year of U14s

So she will almost certainly play Les Petits As, for instance, next year, no?

I imagine she will continue to play selected high profile under 14 events with good competition, such as the end of year Masters (she is 5th in the race), Orange Bowl and Les Petits As - not least because of the restriction on the number of junior ITFs she can play as a 13 year old - but I expect she will play more junior ITFs than under 14 events from September onwards.

Jana Kovackova went on to take the girls title, beating Keisija Berkina of Latvia 5-7 6-3 [10-2]. Daniella and Aran both won their consolation sections.
