First set to Hannah - but it was tough going

The quality of the match dropped off in the second set, with the first 4 games being breaks largely given away, but Hannah then found some consistency to run away with the last 4 games and win 7-6(4) 6-2

Re today's results, Hep made R2 last year so she has covered the 90 singles points from last year

Hannah made R16 last year, i.e. one round further, so she still has another round to go before covering last year's points

Disappointing end from Isa. Started great but got poorer as the match went on. Missed a good opportunity but I know it's been a difficult period for her tennis wise. Hollie really wasnt very competitive at all.

Yes, disappointing end from Isabelle. Hollie looked out of place there - perhaps overwhelmed?

Comfortable win for Mika though

We get our first win of the day as Mika takes out the top ranked WTA player Urhono (WTA325) 6-3 6-3. The American's fast paced game style suited Mika well, and Urhobo may regret not playing any junior warm-up events

Yes, Urhobo was standing SO far back on serve - it was ridiculous
And she really hadn't got the feel for grass at all
Mika was getting excellent whip and countered the ball nicely when needed
Pretty simple win really
