Thanks for all the helpful reporting CD, both from Surbiton and Roehampton adding lots of colour - don't know how you manage to see so many matches, though I guess there are some vantage points where you can take in more than one court.
Charlie joined Viktor and Mark in round 3. Intriguing match between Viktor and Mark, as mentioned above by twentytoone Matches against older higher ranked compatriots are often tricky at this stage.

Certainly - 10.30 start (Mimi on first, Mark + Charlie second, then doubles with British interest). Charlie tackles Emeerson Jones' brother next while Mark plays the lad who beat oli Bonding at the Australian Open (and took out the top seed today)
R3
(WC) Mark Ceban d. Viktor Frydrych 7-6(5) 3-6 6-3 Charlie Robertson d. Nathan Trouve (FRA) 6-2 6-2
QF
(15) Max Schoenhaus (GER) v (WC) Mark Ceban Charlie Robertson v (4) Hayden Jones (AUS)
And Mark progresses to the semis after a retirement from his opponent. Shame for him but a massive boost in his rankings for Mark, propelling him from JWR 295 into the top 200 if I've calculated that correctly!
I note Mark won in his QF by retirement when leading 5-1. Tricky conditions maybe with damp in the air. So Mark now into the SF having accumulated 140 points. Opposition is either 3rd seed Preda but he is a set down to Rafael Jodar.
