I voted 27, based on a Brit Wins algorithm Ive been developing. Same as Blue_Belle smile different to Goldfish

Lol - am trying to teach myself to code in Python and thought it would be fun to try to and use it to predict the number of wins, I capped max possible wins at 36 hmm

Ah, ok, so a real model was developed. If it works, you can start selling licenses for future prediction contests!

Yay, let's go. Let's hit 40 ( which we have hit in 2 of the last 3 Wimbledon years, with 40 and 43, before dipping back to 30 last year ).

My instincts, considering our players, but before the draws was for high 30s. Having seen the singles draws I pushed that up to my vote of 40. I then saw the doubles draws and kind of went - ah .. but hey we are all where we are. Go win, Brits!

I hope youre right Indy - our votes range from 25 to 44, so largely upper end and many above my scale in the poll!

Ive got them all noted down at home but wont be back until tonight so will publish the full list tomorrow.

Not been following today due to driving - but our men dont look like theyve been too hot, although all 3 probably expected to lose.

Re Steven's expected win %s, our men were 1.32/3 and won 0 and our women were 2.21/4 and won 3.

So overall 3 wins against an expected 3.53. Probably actually closer to bang on if that 3.53 doesn't take out the bookies' margin?

And feels better since I thought some of these expected win figures were rather optimistic - effect of home punts on bookies' odds?
