Henry & Harrii, please still win !

 Congratulations, Indy!

(We'll blame you for celebrating too early if Henry and Harri lose. )

updated recent roll of honour:

AO 2023 - 20 wins

FO 2023 - 15 wins

Wimbledon 2023 - 30 wins

US Open 2023 - 26 wins

AO 2024 - 21 wins

FO 2024 - 13 wins

Wimbledon 2024 - 40 wins

Recent prediction winners:

AO 2023 - Coup Droit, Indiana and one other un named person!!

FO 2023 - Miriam abc and JonH Comes Home

Wimbledon 2023 - Miriam abc

US Open 2023 - Elegant Point

AO 2024 - Elegant Point and Goldfish.

FO 2024 - Mdewey and two other un named people!!

Wimbledon 2024 - Indiana

So , can Elegant Point, Goldfish , Mdewey or Indiana get a second slam of the year at the US Open? Will EP defend their US title?

Ive devised a little ranking system to show our best predictor for the first thred slams of the year. Will pop it up maybe later tonight, see how things go

So, here is my little ranking system. The 10 closest predictors in each slam earn points. 1st gets 25, 2nd 18, down to 1 in 10th (see F1 system as it mirrors that). Getting it spot on earns a bonus point, so a winner who is spot on gets 26 points. If two people tie eg for 3rd, they both get 15 points, then 5th place gets 10 as per below.

1 25
2 18
3 15
4 12
5 10
6 8
7 6
8 4
9 2
10 1

So here is the list - realise it is flawed, no doubt, and not everyone has taken part in all 3 slams - so just a bit of fun! But I think I will introduce it as a thing for 2025! Score on left is the total; Strongbow has done well in all 3 slams, with 3 top 10's and 2 second places and they lead the table!

So, in 2012 Olympics, GB managed 12 wins across the 5 events at Wimbledon- 6 from Andy in singles, a few from Andy and Laura in mixed.

In 2016, GB managed 13 wins, again 6 from Andy.

Im wondering if theres room for an Olympics wins prediction? Same 5 events, British players are clear and known. No qualies. Not exactly sure when play gets under way, but Im getting the itch. Anyone up for it?!

The range would be nice and easy - from 0 to 20 wins or more. Given it is on clay , reckon wed be safe.

I might well go for it. Just need to check start of play schedule , unless anyone knows? Monday?

ETA - seems it starts Sunday and runs through until the 4th.

its Tuesday now so entries through Friday night/ maybe saturday

morning?
