Yes, these 3 remaining mixed doubles today look big, not just for possibly adding wins today but possibly helping to add further wins beyond that.

With mdewey most likely heading out of this (sorry mdewey!) we are looking at a third slam this season with a different winner (winners).

Of those left, Indy has past form, winning the AO prediction game in 2023. Can Indy get in the winners circle again?!

Well there are five pairs left in the eight second round matches in the mixed, so there are potentially a lot of wins available - I make it 10. Add 4 for the men's doubles and that would give 47 wins.

ANother day's play will make it all clearer.

 Thatll come down quickly as players start to lose but at least for now all those listed still have a chance !

I think we could in theory have 11 more mixed doubles wins from the champions (4), RU (3), a losing SFiist (2) and 2 losing QFists (2). Add 4 for men's doubles ( winner + losing SFist ) and that's 15 more we could yet add, for a total of 48.

I'm thinking about 40 looks much more likely

Well matches appear to be resuming on all outside courts despite it being after 7:30 - and two of them are mixed doubles.

ETA - well they did start on some courts, but the rain started again
