Katie and Emma are on centre court but Billy and Charlie and Harriet v Kenin are on court 2. I guess they have to have the number 1 seed, Fritz on Centre Court but I'd be a teeny bit disappointed.

But Katie's and Emma's will hopefully provide a lot of entertainment.

Harrison V Broom would have been a great appetiser for the two main course ladies games. Very surprised they didn't make that call.

I think any tournament has to find a balance between the top seeds and the British players, and don't think the order of play is unreasonable.

That win could return Harriet to the top 100 in doubles. Live rankings currently have her at 97.

I saw pretty much everyone practicing yesterday but I didn't spot Pegula. I wonder if we could hope for another LL spot.

The WTA is reporting that she flew into Gatwick on Monday and travelled down to Eastbourne by train. She has every intention of playing to get more experience and confidence on the grass.

Press release says she flew into Gatwick and caught the train to Eastbourne. Comments where that she did intend to play afte a year of stops and starts to continue getting ready for Wimbledon. So no hint that she would drop out there. Bit of a trouper our Jess!

Once again Harriet is showing that she's a very capable doubles player, particularly on grass.

Eastbourne is now showing on iPlayer - but I do wish they'd stop talking and show the match!
