J60 South Africa 

Ellison Minnaar did well to reach the SF but lost there in three sets 

Vincent Fletcher lost against the top seed in R1, also in three sets 

 

J100 Almaty

Max Castle got two wins and then lost in R3

 

J60 Guatamala

Athina Schlepphorst won a match and then lost in R2

 

J60 Sweden

Henry Best lost in R1

He made the semis in doubles though

 

J30 Montenegro

Oliver Dickason and Milo Nardelli lost in R1

Milo got a dubs win

 

J60 Denmark

Dan Hughes is through to the QFs in singles 

(lost in the QFs in doubles) 

Lara Savic lost in R1 in the girls

Hanna Augustynska (age 14) got a win before losing in R2

Together, the girls made the QFs in dubs before losing to the top seeds

 

J30 Tunisia

Julia Reynolds lost in R1

 

J60 Nigeria

Kyle Babbage got a win and then lost to the 2nd seed

Is into the semis in doubles though - playing with a lad called 'Lucky'  

Myah Harper also won in R1, and then lost to the top seed

Alisha Ndukwu is through to the QFs

(and the SFs in dubs)

There's a Cat 1 U12 TE event this week in Bournemouth too

And with a high level of entries

The finals are:

Girls: Ginny Chen v Sophie Cuninghame

Boys: Fred Fabricius v Kai Hodkinson

Alisha is into the SFs

She's beaten a girl called Goodnews. And a girl called Blessing.

But lost in doubles to a girl called Success (and partner)

Who is now playing a girl called Bright (and partner)


I do so love the African virtue names
