So Kaya is born in 2013? But didn't want to play the U11s?
Shame she came up against Adwita straight away
In the U11 finals later today:
GIRLS: Emma Fu v Sahara Baptiste
(there's a girl called Keira Ouvarova - the little sister of Clarice?)
BOYS: Cameron Rae v Matyas Oprchal
Yes - Kaya is currently the top ranked 2013 born in GB. Am assuming they wanted to challenge her more
I believe that Keira is Clarices younger sister. Until recently Clarice was playing under the American flag and has now switched. Keira is still playing under the US flag. I wonder if we will see a change when she moves into 14U though. Due to the acceptance criteria of 12U (no rankings) it benefits her to stay under the American flag. She has got straight into the main draw of the category 1 starting in Bournemouth next weekend. She would have needed a wildcard as a GB player
Sahara Baptiste is also playing up a year as shes still eligible for 10U but transitioned to yellow ball very early

Could someone help re the U14 Wimbledon tournament. Is it played at Roehampton? If I have the time I would love to pop down and see some of these youngsters in action.

And, yes, the youngsters play at Wimbledon, not Roehampton, which I think is great for them - the 'real' Wimbly feeling (and for ground pass spectators - I'd rather watch the U14s than some veterans match)
But, remember, Var, there is the Roehampton ITF event, which is free, at the Bank of England club, and great viewing

Is the roehampton U14 event on at the same time as roehampton j300?

No - the under 14 event (actually Raynes Park - see factsheet) is June 11-15 whilst the Roehampton Junior ITF is 30 June - 5 July
