I think we all could have guessed that, Bob! But thank you for your championing of Billy. I've really enjoyed following him over the past year or so.

As a point, I am also keeping a count on doubles wins, which I will provide the odd weekly update on - as it is a walkover, Julians semifinal "win" wont count to his win/loss tally so I am not adding that in - he therefore is on 2 wins still for this week.

Same of course for all other formats of the game, a walkover doesnt count as a win for win/loss record counting - just in case we see it in the singles and someone tries to call foul!!

Realise, of course, it does count for ranking points purposes, but that is a different thing.

And to clarify, a retirement "win" does count on someones win / loss record and therefore WILL be counted as a win for the purposes of this. Retirements count, walkovers dont!! In essence, the question is did anyone hit a ball in the match? If so, it counts!

Also, as the weather looks less good today, it is worth noting that any matches moved off grass that take place on an indoor court or other surface WILL count towards player's tallies. As per the title of the thread, this is grass court season wins so any wins in one of the official grass events not on a grass court, will count!
