I voted for Emma as I feel she has a point to prove and will want to do so on home soil. As with the men, the absence of lower level tournaments mitigates against the likes of Fran and Sonay who I also considered.

The obvious two are Emma R and Katie B.  I am not convinced about Emma R at the moment - she will only enter the big tournaments, will get some good wins but Im not convinced she will stay the course.  That leaves Katie B but again she will only play the big tournaments.

So I have stuck my neck out and gone for Harriet Dart as she will play all levels of tournament and have much more opportunity for wins.

I will track the doubles wins as they arise here as well, for the women, although no prediction or poll for it. Be interesting to see who folks will get the most doubles wins, maybe a chance for Liv or Maia or someone to top the wins list?
