Which British women's player will win the most grass court season matches in 2024?

Votes so far:

Katie B - 6
Emma - 2
Jodie - 1

Anyone going to go out on a limb and one of the less favoured players, someone who might play qualies or ITF events?

yep, singles main draw and qualies at ITF and WTA level events/ ATP and ATP Challenger level, incl LTA Wild Card Play offs. So pro level stuff.

No doubles, no juniors, no over 35/legends, no wheelchair!

We have had 12 votes but only 4 people telling us how they voted!!

If the other 8 pop by, can you tell us which way your vote went please, so we can keep track! This is a competition after all!

Mind you, virtually everyone is backing it to be Katie B, so easy to guess what most answers would be!

A Katie B and Jack D double seems to be favoured at the moment!

Will Jodies injury hit her grass court hopes as well?

Looking at the Surbiton entry list it is hard to see many wins for the lower ranked Brits, and apart from Ilkley they will not get into most of the ournaments without wild cards.
So my choice was between Katie, Jodie, Harriet, Emma, Lily and Heather. Jodie may not be able to play many tournaments if her ankle doesn't heal quickly, Harriet seems out of sorts right now and I can't see Lily or Heather finishing on top.
So the choice for me was between Katie and Emma - so I went for Emma in the basis that she has set her sights on the grass court season.

Nice analysis and you ended up at same place as me without me putting the brain power into it!

As per feedback elsewhere, its perfectly fine to vote and not say who you vote for; it helps me but isnt vital. Obviously after the vote has closed, it would be good to know so we can track the winners.

Thank you

PLEASE NOTE, I HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE THIS POLL EARLIER THAN PLANNED, IT WILL NOW BE 9.30AM FRIDAY MORNING NEXT WEEK, 31ST MAY. PLAY STARTS OVER THAT WEEKEND IN SURBITON AND AS WE ARE A WEEK OUT, IT IS BETTER TO CLOSE PREDICTIONS BEFORE PLAY ACTUALLY STARTS.

PLEASE NOTE AND DONT MISS THE NEW DEADLINE!
