It may not be the main event of the week but I'm very pleased to see a J30 event

It's a bugbear that the LTA host no W15s and I also think they should host J30s, so a big welcome to Wales' one this week smile

 

Boys

Top seeds in the MD are: Rhys Lawlor; Rhys Watters; Harry Lumb & Felix Evans 

The wildcards are: Sam Zlotnik; Seb Griffiths (brother of Edie?); Niall Pickerd-Barua; and Archie Gray

Qualifiers are: Jack Seaborn; Tom Dixon; Matt McLain; and Otto Friedlein 

LL spot went to Louis Stewart

Only two foreign players, who are both Irish (so not truly foreign )

 

Girls

Top seeds: Edie Griffiths; Mia Wainwright; Daisy Clifford; and Nehir Tuna (TUR)

Wildcards: Sofia Maine; Awen Gwilym-Davies; Alice Sharp; and Emma Ketler

Girls

Well done to 14 year-old wildcard Alice Sharp, who beat Celine Ricaud, easily, and will now get her first ranking

And to Gracie Hurley, who beat the 3rd seed, Daisy Clifford

And Gabby Read, who beat the 5th seed, Macy Denney-Richards

Alice Wilson-Marsh also got a win, as did Charlotte Holmes (over an Irish girl)

 Kateryna (Ukraine) is on a full time scholarship at Delgado and Lee, they took in several Ukrainian students and are providing their training. Nehir (Turkey) is a full time player at Bath university

So both British based
