Lol - unfortunately more just being realistic given recent form on the clay - but still hoping the doubles players will turn things around! Although would also be nice to see some of our top singles players getting some early practice on the grass instead.

Are you going to Ilkley, Pauliscot? The mens field was on Darts yesterday, no Brits in directly, presumably some wildcards. ruusuvori top seeded, Shapo and Goffin entered.

lta site didnt have the womens yet, maybe it is somewhere else? Ive got finals tickets so not expecting any Brits but its a good day out.

Ive never been to that tournament before but considering heading over for the qualies weekend if possible hopefully to see a few Brits in action

i used to go to the Surbiton qualies when I lived in london and was good fun.

On the ITF website it shows the entry deadline as tomorrow, 30 May - so the initial list should be available in the evening or the day after.

Always forget womens events are ITF as opposed to same timelines as ATP, duh.

I voted for 8 or less. Sadly I expected 1 win from the singles and 6 or less across the doubles events. Hope I'm yet proved wrong!

I think I was the other one, saw the singles draw and feared the worst. I guess we should scrape a couple of doubles wins at least.

in terms of predictions, I noted down:

8 or less - Pauliscot, Dodrade

10 Brendan F

11- Var

12 - JonH, Strongbow

13 - Mdewey

14 - Tanaqui, The Addict

15 - Elegant Point, Goldfish

16 - Blue Belle, Bob in Spain, Miriam ABC

17 - Jan, Emmsie69 (and Indiana said he would have voted 17 before play started!)

18 - FlipFlops

23 - Ralfie

Others did vote but didn't unveil themselves OR I have missed them out (apologies) - we have 18 people who said how they voted, 24 voters in total, so if the other 6 are willing to unveil themselves, that would be great!

If you need to know then you shouldn't make it a poll and do what the addict does with his prediction competition and just have us post our prediction

Its fine, Brendan, not really sure why we have fallen out on this, but I understand your comments - your bullying comment still smarts though.

You will notice I have said I dont need to know on other posts, for example the May Player of the Month poll and people can choose to say who they voted for. I dont think this is like some sort of general election, though, where privacy is important - this is more than anything supposed to be a bit of fun, I hope most people see it that way. I hope you do.

But let's not fall out, please.

I don't want you to feel uncomfortable about this. Unfortunately, I'm not good around other people, hence why I don't post often and I think being "unmasked" brings that out of me.I do still enjoy participating in your competitions and will always do so regardless of the format.

Good stuff - thank you for that and we've reached a happy position; than you for taking part in the competitions, I will try to think of new ones as ideas inspire me, but for now we have a few nice ones to keep us going!!

All the best!

The weather looks like it could stop us getting any Brits finished today as well! 5 days and still no wins? Could be possible!
