The mens and womens doubles draws dont look very kind to the Brits although we have at least got decent numbers this year in both relative to the past!

Someone commented somewhere that the mixed draw was out - Neal with Desirae and Joe with Heather - and they could meet in round 2.

in terms of predictions, I noted down:

17 - Jan, Emmsie69 (and Indiana said he would have voted 17 before play started!)

Others did vote but didn't unveil themselves OR I have missed them out (apologies) - we have 16 people who said how they voted, 24 voters in total, so if the other 8 are willing to unveil themselves, that would be great!

For now, smart money looking at the lower end of the scale , I would say! But could the doubles players come good? We have the numbers, do we have the quality??

I voted for 8 or less. Sadly I expected 1 win from the singles and 6 or less across the doubles events. Hope I'm yet proved wrong!
