Henry and Harri have dropped out, which is a blow and reduces the max to 17 wins now. Another person cant win our event, but we have the vast majority still in it!
Elegant Point and Goldfish both won the AO competition in January, jointly. And I have only just realised, both went 15 wins here together. Could they be on for a repeat shared win?
Prompted by Henry and Harri giving a walkover, just to remind everyone that wins by retirement count, but wins by walkover don't. As per previous years when we have done - so, if I Brit gets a walkover without hitting a ball, it doesnt count as a win but winning by retirement after just one point, that does count. This is the same as how ATP and WTA count match win/loss records for players records, so is aligned.

More importantly, are they related in some way??!
Well, they do say great minds think alike! Maybe we just have impeccable guessing skills
Cant resist a chance to experiment, so perhaps we can blind the votes next time (ie not disclose our guesses) until after voting closed? I didnt realise that we had 15 wins in 2023, or I might have voted differently

For the ones where the answer is a person we can (although are not obliged to) post naming our choice so masking the votes would not be a complete answer. Where the answer is just a number it would be slightly more tedious to tot them up.

Just to clarify only a suggestion for the next Slam, wouldnt want to dictate how peeps vote or make extra work for anyone (I dont think it would in this instance) but completely up to JonH how he runs things.
Just great to have a group of peeps who enjoy tennis as much as I do and stops me being a tennis bore with friends and family
