The top U12 event, Passagespoirs takes place this week

In the boys, it's all over in singles now:

Max Sokol Joseph Knightley lost in R1

Fred Fabricius and Pekko Pfundstein lost in R2

Darnay Hunnygen lost in R3

In the girls, we've had a little more success:

Two girs who were LTA's picks for GBR, Sophia Cuninghame and Naina Kapoor, lost in R1

Bella Rebel (coached by Helen Parish) and a new name to me, Lola Brown, lost in R3

High flyer, Ginny Chen, is doing well and has made the QFs

I noticed there is a TE U14 Cat 1 tournament in Slovakia going on. Megan, Niall, Scott, Daniella and Eric have made the QFs :)

Thanks for the heads-up about an event I had missed.  The boys entry is very strong (6 of the top 10), the girls less so (1 of the top 20)

There is another J200 event in Italy this week (Prato, - they run weekly in April/May culminating in the Trofeo Bonfiglio or Milan J500). Maxwell Castle tried to qualify, but lost out in final qualifying. He and his partner lost in the first round of doubles

Ginny Chen won her QF extremely easily in the U12 Passagespoirs

She now plays a very highly touted Ukranian girl, Anikina - she won the Super 12 Auray and the Open de TCBB recently

Some of our younger players in action here

Girls

Daisy Wootton (2010) unfortunately drew the top seed and lost in R1

But Sevil Parviz (2010 is into the QFs, and counting, which is her first ever points in singles at ITF level, and her first ITF event outside of the UK

Boys

Leo Wright (2009) is also into the QFs

All are still standing in doubles too
