Following her exploits last week, young Tara has unfortunately (or understandably) withdrawn from this week's event in Ghana

However, we are still well represented

 

J30 Ghana

R1 wins for 2010-born Lisa Bolton and Daphnee Lovdahl

Myah Harper lost, but has a win in the doubles (as have the others) 

Alisha Ndukwu (2) has a BYE in R1 

 

In the boys, Josh Wright lost in R1, as did Kyle Babbage, but Harry Cornhill won

 

J100 Turkey

Maria Ustic lost in R1

 

J60 Latvia

(q) Samuel Zlotnik lost in R1 but got a win in doubles 

 

J30 Austria

Matt Upton lost in R1

 

J30 Trinidad & Tobago 

Sonny Dickson lost in R1

 

J30 Belgium

Abi Redman got a win and then lost in R2

Julia Reynolds and James Hutchinson lost in R1

 

 

J30 Botswana

Josh Aston and Max Bland both won in R1

R2 wins for 2010-born Lisa Bolton and Daphnee Lovdahl (beating the 4th seed) and Alisha Ndukwu (2)

And Harry Cornhill too :)

Josh Aston won but Max Bland lost in R2

J30 Ghana

2010-born Lisa Bolton lost her QF and 2010-born Daphnee Lovdahl had to retire, which is a real shame.

However, Alisha Ndukwu (2) won her QF and is into the SF, and also into the final of the doubles

Harry Cornhill too also lost



J30 Botswana

(q) Josh Aston lost his SF, to the top seed, 4 & 4

Daisy Clifford made it through to the semis

She also made the finals in the doubles but ended up losing in a MTB :(

Wrexham hosted two Tennis Europe events this week, Cat 2 U12 and U14s.

Boys U12 Final: FRA def. Joseph Knightley 

Girls U12 Final : April Sackflame (GBR) def. POL

Big bravo to April who is a new name to me. She defeated Sophie Cuninghame in the final play-off draw, R1, who is one of the girls that the LTA have picked for British team, I seem to remember.

Boys U14 Final: IRE def Ruben Stanmore (GBR)

Girls U14 Final: Liv Zingg (2011) (GBR) def Sevil Parviz (2010) (GBR) 6-0 6-4

Yanziye Zhang (2011) pushed Liv really close in R2
