The girls have done it again - same pattern of results - and play Ukraine for gold (they beat Estonia, the eventual winners of our qualifying group). As an aside I note that this is the first occasion since the under 12 competition started in 2012 that the finals host (usually Czechia for the boys and Britain for the girls) has not qualified direct through the qualifying competition

Although the Tennis Europe website has not been updated since mid afternoon they have tweeted that the girls have won That is therefore the second time we have won the under 12 girls trophy. The previous occasion was last time out in 2020 (Hannah Klugman, Amalia Widdowson and Sophie Bekker). The boys also won it once in 2013 (Jack Draper, George Loffhagen and Jacob Fearnley)

The under 12 boys finished fifth after wins over Czech Republic (3-0 with singles wins for Oskar and Frederick) and 2-1 against the Netherlands (wins for Oskar plus doubles)
Wow thats a good pedigree if theyre following on from Sophie, Amalia and Hannah. Lets hope they continue on a simiar trajectory. Well done for all those taking part. A few wins for the boys too.
France was the country we lost to in the qualifying event, so two teams from the same group make the final. A particularly impressive win for Niall over the TE4 today
